APPROACHES TO ERG (2014 / 2015)
10-minute HD video projection, 12-channel surround sound audio (also released as experimental documentary in 5.1 Dolby surround). Underwater imagery and hydrophone recordings captured above selected shipwreck sites along a 40km stretch of Halifax Harbour, and off the coastline of Nova Scotia.
Part of a body of work entitled Point-Line-Intersection that examines interrelationships between culture and natural water systems.
Produced through support from the “Acoustic Networks” artist residency at the Centre for Art Tapes, Halifax (Nova Scotia).

Experimental documentary featuring underwater imagery and deep water hydrophone recordings captured above selected shipwreck sites resting in Halifax Harbour, and off the coast of Nova Scotia (from the SS Daniel Steinmann sunk near Sambro Island, to the ruins of the Erg tugboat lying in Bedford Basin near Roach Cove).
